Nova Eroica takes it's roots from L'Eroica (the original vintage gravel gran fondo event) yet differs in that, cyclists find 'the beauty of fatigue and the thrill of the conquest' on modern road, cyclocross and gravel bikes. The ‘New Heroic’. There are competitive routes and leisure routes from which to choose. This event is held on the strade bianche of L'Eroica as well as additional white gravel roads of the Val d'Orcia. The 27 km route is suitable for children and families, while the 73 km route is also non-competitive, but is open to both classic and modern steel bikes. True heroes can choose from 89, 150 or 206 km gravel race routes, which with its almost 4,000 m of altitude difference, will put even the toughest cyclists to the test.
The week leading up to the event, you will spend the week cycling the famous Strade Bianche gravel country roads, enjoy chef-prepared meals, take in the local sightseeing and relax at our on-site facilities.
